So Sorry

It's been almost a year since I've posted. Sorry I will try to do better.

Noah will be two on Feb 9 and we are so excited. It's hard to believe he's already so big. He loves to play with toy cars and really anything with wheels. He also loves Elmo and In the Night Garden. He is a very sweet boy, most of the time, although he has started to copy any new words he hears.

Mikayla is 4 1/2 yrs. She is very bright, and unfortunately quite bossy too. She can be a big help when she wants to be, and she is already excited about kindergarten in the fall.

Lana is 3 1/2 yrs. She is very creative and shy. She is a quick learner and can be very sneaky too. She was very excited to start sunbeams in primary this year and is doing really well. She loves music and sings along to my cds in the car, with most of the correct words.

Ben is still working at Coopers and we are preparing for him to go for his last bit of schooling this fall. In september he will go to Lethbridge college for 8 weeks of technical training than take his exams, all 3 of them. If he gets above a 70% then he is done and will be a certified journeyman mechanic.

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. Due date is Aug 2. And our first ultrasound is next week. We are currently looking for a bigger vehicle and hopefully in the next few months we will be able to sell our house and get a bigger one.

Well that's it for now. I'll write again next week.

Been a While

Well it's been a while, a long while, since I've updated. The last few months have been eventful. In feb Noah turned 1!!!!I had fun being creative and making Noah's "Ark" out of rice krispies as his birthday cake. In March we travelled to Innisfail for Ben's nephew's baptism. It was nice to see family and my Dad finally met his grandson. Last month has just been a blur.

Update coming soon.

Happy 2009

Well as the new year begins so do some changes in our family. Ben will be going to school and finishing his apprenticeship. Mikayla will be starting pre-school in September, whether she will be attending traditional school or homeschool is the question.

We finished 2008 with a wonderful christmas. The kids received all sorts of presents and are having fun playing with them in thier new playroom. We had generous secret santa presents dropped off numerous times, and we are very grateful for whomever did these wonderful deeds.

And finally , here are some long awaited pictures of the kids from this christmas season and in their Christmas outfits sent by Nana & Papa Briault.

Christmas!!

Well, Christmas is done, but not totally for our family. We celebrate Ukranian Christmas on Jan 7. The kids got quite the load of presents this year, we were glad we had the truck. The kids are all having fun playing with new toys, trying to figure out how they work and how they break.

Ben is getting ready for school on the 5th, even though they have yet to announce his schedule. He will be going to school Monday - Friday and working at Cooper's on Saturday to increase the little income we will be getting from EI.

I have rearranged upstairs and turned half of Noah's room into a playroom for the girls so that their enormous amount of toys can be better contained and out of sight. Also so that I don't have to watch Tinkerbell or other movies over and over and over again.

The highlight of Ben's christmas was a book his mother bought him about mustangs, and a game for the wii that we got. My highlights were a wall hanging of a family from Ben and a FHE board from Ben's brother and sister-in-law.

Now we are preparing for the new year as it promises to be interesting and eventful. Hopefully Ben will have his AST License by Christmas 2009 and that means we will be getting wage increases this year as he advances. I will be preparing to make a final decision on homeschooling before September when Mikayla is supposed to start preschool. And the kids are all going to grow and have fun.

Mikayla had her last day of Nursery at church and starts Sunbeams on Sunday. She is very excited. Lana will be in Nursery by herself until August when Noah joins her.

Joyeaux Noel!!
